"What makes us terrible people is that no one looks back over his life." Being in a state of reflection will allow us to make much more informed choices about the future, great stuff.
I find this interesting considering I tend to overanalyze what I have done or how I have interacted with another person. I do not beat myself up over it or ruin my day over a "not so great" interaction, but I almost always reflect on what I have said and done, and how I can be better in that situation, whether that's through my words or through my actions. I am always reflecting. I agree with this sentiment that not everyone reflects on themselves as they probably should. I think a lot of people do whatever they please and have no second thought about the actions they do, because they feel themselves completely justified in every scenario. This is not always true (obviously), but I think people don't care about being better humans towards others, because they feel they are always in the right... this is concerning to me... so I agree that people should stop and reflect on themselves and their words/ actions.

Clearly Seneca wasn't speaking for us all. Some don't reflect enough, others may overthink. Balance is everything.
