The theories of philosophy offer us a sense of comfort. It gives us a way to explain the things happening around us. By looking into the many different theories that philosophy is based on it can alleviate stress by giving our minds bigger things to consider. We look at philosophy and we are reminded that we are only a tiny piece of the amazing world we live in.
ReplyDeleteIn agreement with this post, I believe we, as humans get caught up in a strict tunnel vision that doesn't allow ourselves to "smell the roses" and take some time to cherish it. The theory of Stoicism promotes this thought and reminds to take a breather when studying the immense vastness of the universe we reside in.
