Bertrand Russell's "Conquest of Happiness" is a book that he wrote initially published in 1930. Russell held very controversial views on social issues, including sexuality. In this book he sets a rationalist approach in achieving a happy life. This book talks more about unhappiness than happiness but definitely gives insight on how to live a happier life. This book allows us to see how far we've come in life and also to see how much farther we can go in order to live a happy life. In my opinion, this is one of the better self-help books that I have come into contact with.
