I have not seen all of Richard Dawkins work, but the little that I have seen I have noticed he has a gifted way with words. This was a wonderful short video of Dawkins narrating about how lucky humans are to be alive on a planet such as ours. I completely agree, there are so many events that have to happen in a small range of possibilities for an environment like ours to occur. To me it is exponentially more beautiful that all of those events can develop without a need for a creator, or not even to say a lack of a creator but rather not ONLY answering the question of 'how our universe formed' by stating something merely made it period! Adding that there was a quote highlighted in the video Dawkins that resonates with me, it said "Isn't it a noble, an enlightened way of spending our brief time in the sun, to work at understanding the universe." I find so many aspects of our experience within the universe and the inter-workings of our universe intensely intriguing to the point that my ambitions are centered at understanding our universe. Obviously I am biased, but I agree with Dawkins quote that basically a life dedicating to comprehending the universe is not only well spent but wise. Lastly, pointing out that by furthering our understanding the universe humans can create enlightened living standards as well.
