I feel that people should be praised for the effort they put into their body. As a society we should reinforce healthy lifestyles because when you look your best, you tend to be your healthiest. However, there is a difference between this and editing photos and photoshopping to set a standard that you, yourself do not even live up to.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I'd like to add that standards such as this creates a wider gap in class difference as only people of certain wealth can afford to undergo surgeries and treatment for the sole purpose of cosmetics
